How do I know what kind of worm it is? I had over the counter wormer in my house but it said it was for roundworms and hookworms. The tapeworm is described as being seen in small dried pieces. This doesn't look like roundworm as she has had that before but there aren't any tiny/small pieces like described in tapeworm. Only long ones. Help?

Take the dog to the vet, or at least bring in a stool sample, so that they can check to see what kind of worms they are.

Get a stool sample and take it to the vet. Your question will be answered correctly and quickly and the appropriate medication dispensed. Don't guess; you are putting the health of your pet companion at stake.

well if you really want to know!!! TAKE your dog to the vet and show them the sample you have. if you can't why don't you CALL the vet. don't just sit there wondering to yourself, your dog might need help.
