Suddenly, there are no cans on the grocery store shelves saying that bones are included. I also noticed today that the same is true for most sardine cans: "skinless, boneless".

I JUST OPENED A CAN OF SALMON, I FOUND ONLY THREE SMALL ROUND SOFT BONES . YOU ASK A VERY GOOD QUESTION. MAYBE SOMEONE GOT THEM CAUGHT IN THEIR THROAT AND THE COMPANY GOT SUED. YOU MIGHT FIND A CAN W/THE PHONE NUMBER ON IT AND GIVE THEM A JINGLE.

That would be a shame. I like the bones, they are so crunchy and good. Guess I won't be buying any more canned salmon. I buy it for the bones.

In short, it's gross for most people to sort through and dissect the bones and skin from the salmon. Some people prefer to eat the bones... but most people prefer not to eat the skin and it's kinda gross to pick through it and then have the appetite to eat it.
