well i think it's so hard to say... we don't know if he gave his life to the LORD right before he died.... and GODS love is so great for us... but then again you think about GODS WORD, and how it says we are to follow JESUS here on earth and carry out HIS WILL, and try to live a holy life pleasing to GOD.... you look at a christian's life and james brown's life and their is a big difference.... doesn't that make u wonder....

JESUS told the man that was crucified next to him today you shall be with me in paradise.... so his soul went to heaven... and the 144,000 are jews who will be converted during the tribulation after the church has been raptured.. the redeemed on earth who are protected from GODS wrath...

James Brown has already reincarnated into the unborn body of a baby goat. Once reaching maturity this goat will be famous for its musical prowess.

He is in the Biblical hell which is the common grave of all mankind, everyone who dies with the exception of the 144,000 anointed Christians, the faithful and discreet slave, goes there, when we die we go into non-existence until the resurrection, Genesis 2:7 says that man became a living soul, he did not receive a soul, and Ezekiel 18:4 says that the soul that is sinning, it itself will die. Revelation 20:13 says that hell gave up the dead in it, so hell is to be emptied of all in it./// jen, you do not understand the Scriptures, you need to do some studying, read Ezekiel 18:4, and what would be the point of a resurrection if we had an immortal soul, try reading Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 read Ecclesiastes 9:5,10. Jesus said to the one thief, I tell you today, that you will be with me in paradise, he didn't say I tell you today you will be with me in paradise. Jesus knew he was going to resurrect the thief back to life in paradise on earth to have eternal life Psalms 37:11,29. I give Scriptures as proof not my opinions as the rest do. If you don't believe the Scriptures then you are rejecting God. The 144,000 are Spiritual Jews not physical Jews, they are made up of all peoples, nations and tongues including the Jews, Revelation 14:4 says they were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. Revelation 5:9,10 says they were bought out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation and he made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God and they would rule as kings over the earth, well they will rule over somebody,Psalms 37:11,29 Revelation 20: 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection(firstfruits Revelation 14:4), over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years (Revelation 5: 9,10). Compare Scriptures.

Good question. I can't answer that but I hope he knew Christ personally. The word does say that who we think will be in heaven won't be and who we thought wouldn't be there will be. In other words we will be shocked to find out who is and who isn't.
Example: Mother Tersea, everyone assumes that she is in Heaven or for catholics she may be serving time in purgatory, but either way everyone expects her to be in Heaven but no one knows for sure if she was truly saved (born again) or not. Same with the Pope. Only God knows if He truly accepted Christ as His savior and was born again. They both spread a false form of chrisitianity and might very well be one of the ones that are not in Heaven. When Christ returns He says in Matthew that many will say to Him, "Lord, Lord, we cast out demons in your name and prophesied in your name and did other great things in your name", and He will say to them, "Get away from workers of wickedness, I NEVER KNEW you." These people that He is speaking to are professing christians. But they never truly knew Christ by being born again in the spirit. It was all about religion and following the Pope or some baptist preacher and doing what the chruch said they had to do. They died without Christ and will be cast into the pit with the fallen angels. Tragic!!!!! But true.

Only God really knows and any guesses would be to judge the man from outside appearances. In the face of death and quiet time to think in a hospital would certainly have given him every opportunity to decide his destination. I hope he chose Heaven.

God said to "Judge not lest ye be judged". I know it will all come out in the end. There will be a lot of people in Heaven you didn't think would make it, and a lot won't be there that you thought would.

The theif next to Jesus lived during the Old Testament times. He did not live during the New TEstament times. Also Jesus had the right to forgive him of his sins. No one will be in heaven or hell until the Judgment. James Brown will not be there YET! We do not need to be concerned with his soul, ONLY OUR OWN!! Get your life right with GOD. Become a Christian as the Apostles led others to become Christians to do.

To become a real Chrtistian…
We are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.
