(The "magic ingredient" that most wars require to start - the usual "my religion is better than your religion bullshlt")
It is a catalyst for the wholesale slaughter of people - and has been since someone first coined the idea of "vengeful gods", wrath, punishment and all these other great "mind control / thought control / population control" bits of tat that we are supposed to adhere to.
It is curious that some adults reckon it is wrong to let children enjoy the concept of Father Christmas - and yet choose to belive in something with even less "proof" - ignoring really old books written by dozens of authors - all with hidden agendas - translated, interpreted, re-written and then re-hashed into a modern version.
Hmm, great.
I think "Catalyst" is both accurate - and also quite restrained.
