After a surgery that caused depression and me to cry day after day, month after month, my father came and sat by my side day after day. I sat in the yard and cried and he was right there to offer support to me, what a wonderful act and it meant so very much to me.

This is not THE kindest, but I have to give credit. I once volunteered at a hospital for 250 hours over the course of three years. Another volunteer, a girl younger than me, did over 500 hours in a much shorter time. She was constantly there even at night sometimes. She was a wonderful, kind person for working so hard. I'm not belittling myself, I just really admired her.

There was a bank robbery about 3 years ago downtown, I witnessed a criminal fleeing the seen after shooting two people.
He ran straight out into the street and collided with an oncoming truck...he laid there dying. I pulled out my gun (i'm a member of the NRA) and put one square in his face! Now he's in Hell where he belongs.
And, to this day, I am free to do as I please because I was aquitted of all charges.

Several years ago, my car was wrecked and I could not afford a loaner while my car was being repaired. A person at my church donated a car to me to use (and the couple went down to one car).
Another person gave me clothing.
I've seen people given entire meals, another friend of mine was given a scholarship to get his PhD, another person I know was given a brand new car, while another person received the money to pay off several bills. Many of these things are done anonymously.

our neighbors helped us move in by help lifting our big screen TV, dining table, fridge.....the whole nine yards
but you can perform kind acts everyday by being nice to people on the subway like last week i gave up my seat to a tired old lady she refused at first but you can tell she really wanted it since she smiled in satisfaction when she sat down

A daughter giving 8 years of her life to care for her terminally ill (cancer-patient) mother. Round the clock care in her home, so she could die in her own bed, with her family around her.

When a woman died and donated her organs. Her liver ended up going to my sister who would have died within a few days without it.I'll always be grateful that her unselfish gift enabled my sister to live.

my daughter, who is 11, was cheerleading and there was a girl on the team whose mother could not afford her pom-poms, so my child reached over and gave her one of hers to use, she placed the girl onone side of herself, and one used the left hand to raise the pom-pom and the other raised the right hand and it was so cute... made my heart melt
