I would see your regular doctor first and see if he reccomends a chiropractor. Your regular doctor has more training in deciding how serious your injury is and if anything besides an adjustment or weekly therapy is needed. The pain you felt in your neck, head and shoulders may have been coming from your lower back in the first place but expressed itself higher in the back. I know how bothersome a neck/back injury can be and you are wise to see a doctor ASAP because chances are it will not suvside on it's own. Good luck and I hope your back feels better!

I had the same thing happen to me years ago I never recovered my whole life was ruined and there was no blood I don't understand I was sitting twisted giving way to on coming traffic He didn't see me at all.
I went to the Dr's they put me on pain killers then I went to a chiropractor (which helped me but is not always good for everyone)pick a good one though and then go to a muscle man It hurts like hell but god it helps so much its worth it.Also seek legal advice as I said this happened in 1983 and I'm in pain 24/7 now I have chronic Rheumatoid arthritis as well I spent nearly 6 years bed ridden till I got all this help Good luck to you take care of yourself

First off, depending on what state you live in. You might check with the BMV. The person that hit you from behind is at fault. They can be stuck with the bill. Sounds like you need to see your regular physician so they can get an overall look at your injuries and then make a decision on what tests they need to do next.

Go to your primary doctor first, and he will likely refer you to either a chiropractor or physical therapy. When i hurt my back and neck, i went to both - still seeing both now.
Good luck.
--Make sure you get an MRI on the affected areas for proper care.

Go to your doctor first. You may have what is called a compression fracture which you need an xray to diagnose. A chiropractor may make the problem worse.

first you should contact a lawyer, next have the lawyer refer you to the chiropractor. go to therapy 3 times a week for 6 months . insurance will end. you will have to continue and pay on your own if needed. in 3-5 yrs you will have a nice lawsuit anywhere from 12-100,000 depending on what insurance they have. minus the 10% fee for me telling you all this.

Usually people, after a car incident, would go directly to a chiro. My suggestion would be go to your primary MD, tell him signs, symptoms and the cause, he can do tests and then would probably refer you to either physical therapy or chiropractor or both.

Your doctor should refer you to a chiropractic he/she knows about. I was rear ended too but I wasn't hurt because the seat gave out and I ended up laying down afterwards. I hope you feel better and the chiro. will help you out.

you need to check with the insurance co that is paying the bill for the driver that hit you...some will not allow you to see a chiro, only an MD or DO.
my ins co will only let me see a pain mgmt specialist, no one else
