Seriously though. Tell your dad, there's this guy, I like and his name is ..... . That's the best way I can think of right now

You did not state your age. If you are 18 or older then just tell your Dad. If you are younger than ask your Mom on how to tell your Dad.

how old are you? i would talk to you mom and see if she has any ideal on how to tell your dad.
