it depends on who you are, and what color of hair you have, how thick it is, etc
Buf for the average person I think it is an inch every two months, so about 1/2 inch a month

I'll agree with the guy that quoted the wickipedea.com they are usually spot on for most things. Why are you so worried about it? I'd say 1/2 in per month or so depending on the person.
