There is nothing magic about the two bowls of Special K -- it's all about the calories. An eating plan that includes two bowls of cereal as two meals a day for two weeks will of course lead to weight loss, provided you are not gorging yourself during the non-cereal meal. It's because the number of calories per day is low. This can be an OK plan to jump start a weight loss program and give you some motivation, but once the two weeks are up you'll need to continue to eat fewer calories every day than you are burning with exercise. Good luck!

Every ones body is different, chemicals and metabolism. You can try it but there are no guarantees that it will work. You have to measure the portion of cereal and use skim milk. I think you'll lose some weight but I also think you'll gain it back once you go back to a regular routine of eating. The best way to lose weight is stay away from sugars, diet properly getting enough vitamins in your daily diet and exercise. It shouldn't matter what you weigh, if you think your a beautiful person then others will too.

I have done it and it works but I got sick of eating cereal for two meals every day. Also remember to check and follow the serving size and there is only 10 calories difference between 1% and 2% milk.

Absolutely. Americans eat too much portions, so substituting a bowl of cereal (low calory meal) for your cheeseburger lowers your overall caloric intake for those two weeks. Remember, no snacking though: three meals a day, two of them cereal.

Just be sure to maintain your new shape by excersising and eating balanced, well-portioned meals and you are on the road for a fit, healthy life.

well i haven't and don't need to lose weight, but the special K thing does kinda work. you just have to eat it every single time. but you have to have balance on your other food you eat too. also you still need to exercise and all that stuff. but if you just eat the special k and later don't watch your diet and not exercise you're not loosing anything!
