just take it to the jewerly store and get it cleaned often. it will scratch pretty much whatever you do, mine did. but it will still shine when it is cleaned

Yes it does scratch very easy. I pretty much insisted on a platinum setting, and now I wish I had asked for white gold. However I wear mine every day, and it gets a lot of bumps and bruises. The jeweler can buff out little nicks and scratches, but to keep it looking new all the time, you will have to have it professionally cleaned often.

Kay Jewelers uses a cleaning solution and a sonic cleaner that keeps my wifes rings shiny, her's is platinum and it's not scratched at all
