at night time my dog digs at my door and pants as loud as possible in my face. he also jumps on my bed and off non-stop just up and down.
I know how to take care of the digging but I don't know how to stop him from panting and jumping up and down. pushing him away doesn't work either.
help please!
what do I do?!

Does he have to go outside? If the answer is no - try using a crate or a dog kennel at night. Get him used to it in steps. Don't just put him in it and think it will work. During the day kennel him for 10-20 min a time. Give treats when he goes in to the kennel. I have 2 dogs and both are in the kennel at night. That is their night time spot and we ALL sleep during the night.
If you must have your dog sleep with you - try a long walk before bedtime, dogs need to burn off their energy and may not always be ready for bed when you are.

According to the true dog whisperer ideas, exercise is the key. Are you able to walk him just before bed? Are you able to walk him during the day? The more I walk my dog the better behavior I get out of him.

Keep the crate in your room but crate him when it is time for sleep. After a while he may get the routine and may stop bothering you while you are trying to sleeping.

you should take him to a doggy training camp so he can learn how to react when you are asleep. the dog's problem probably is that he misses you when your door is closed but when you let him in, to him thats a sign that you want to play when you really dont want to, you should tell him NO and make it very clear that you dont want to play.
~hope i helped~

Maybe he has to go potty? If this isn't the case, he needs to be played with before bedtime to get tired enough to sleep.

it is very possible that the dog is just lonely. you should play with him before you go to bed. either that or he wants to go outside.

My Puppy only does this at night time when he has to 'drop doggie bombs" When you gotta go - you gotta go.
