Because Love is Blind. I know exactly how you feel in this situation.. but somewhere between their embarrassing past.. and meeting you, a Change must have taken place. Accept the feelings that you have and embrace them. Do not question your feelings based on some body's mistakes because it isn't our place to judge anyways. =)

because of love, sounds a bit corny but when you love someone, you will accept everything about him, including his past. Hey, its ok even if he had an embarassing past, don't be discourage...let him take it as a lesson to never commit the mistakes again in the future ;) Gud luck!

I think that is great that you love that person even though they had an embarrassing pass you are just suppose to forget about the past.

If you love him then that is all you need to know...Do you think that he deserves to have his embarrassing past follow him for the rest of his life? Do you think he should miss out on love b\c of his past? I don't!!

he flirted with someone or dumped anyone.. or raped..

it depends upon what kind of embarrassment he's having..

It is more then possible that his past taught him to be better, more understanding, and loyal.....why not try to enjoy the future?
