I have this awesome stuff actually for getting the chlorine out... It's called Neo Soma I think and I get it from http://www.kiefer.com
Chlorine makes me itch and messes up my hair so I have a routine on swim days... I shower with my neo soma body wash and do my hair with the shampoo then I wash with my regular shampoo (nioxin, it's awesome) and then condition. I leave the conditioner in while I was with my regular (liquid) body wash. I rinse everything off/out and then use in shower (oil of olay) body lotion and rinse that off of course. I don't itch and I never really smell like chlorine!! My hair also stays in great shape. You may have to take a few days off from swimming so your skin and hair can recover but once you get back to normal this keeps everything looking, feeling and smelling normal. (in regards to chlorine).
Trust me... it works for me!

You're 1st going to want to go to the salon and get the Chlorine stripped out of your hair with a Malibu 2000 Make-Over treatment.
Then you can use the Malibu 2000 Swimmer's Action Shampoo and Conditioner everyday that you use the pool.
Malibu 2000 has a weekly treatment too if needed--
Power Protein Builder or
Chlorine-Away Booster Additives or
Malibu2000 Quicken.
I would for sure use the shampoo and conditioner daily, that will help prevent the chlorine from causing hair damage of all kinds.

im a swimmer 2! and what i do with my hair is take a bowl and in it stick some bakingsoda and shampoo and mix it together. then wash your hair with that. after you rinse it out shampoo your hair again but without baking soda. use chlorine shampoos after you swim.get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. works for me. good luck!
