Jesus is one with the Father in heaven so they would know the same things. I am sure he knew about DNA but that was not his purpose for coming to earth and walking and talking among men.
He trained the apostles so that they later testified to his life and works and built churches of believers. He also concentrated on teaching men of the age what kind of Christian life to lead. He was not a science teacher and God had not revealed DNA at that time.

If Jesus would have told people of his day what DNA was they would have never understood it. They had trouble understanding what he did tell them. That he knew the count of the hairs on there head. But Jesus knew exactly how things were made because he made them

Jesus knew about DNA. He invented it. He created everything. Perhaps you should consider that he came and spoke and did what was what God wanted him to speak and do. What the world needs is Jesus. We needed a Savior to deliver us from sin and death. He was the Savior and rose from the dead. Issues of science cannot compare to the importance of who Jesus is. Jesus is the answer to all problems from the grandest scale to the smallest. Jesus holds the universe together.

You will not be the judge of Jesus, but he will judge you. And me.

Well, neither does the Bible talk about the table of elements (sorry, I've been too long out of school, but I'm referring to the elements in chemistry: like Fe for iron, or O for Oxygen, and a number with it - I used to actually know what it meant!). Neither does it refer to molecules. Neither does it refer to the hundreds or thousands of languages in the world. Neither does it refer to Plato's Republic. You see, the Bible is not a book of chemistry, or of Physics, or of languages, or of arts, or even of philosophy, or history, even though it can sometimes refer to these subjects when useful for its purposes. The Bible is a message from God to man. He figured we could figure out the other stuff for ourselves.

Because the Bible was written by men who didn't know about DNA. Scripture is inspired because of its subject matter, not because it was dictated by God. Of course, a minority of fundamentalist Christians will disagree with me on this... but even Jesus said that Moses wrote things that were not commanded by God.

Surprise, the Bible is a book of faith not a book of science... Does everything have to be explained at that level before you could see value in it.. Because I am a Christian I won't call you a fool... Jim

God knows every hair on your head, he knows everything about you including your DNA. It's just people didn't know what DNA was back then.

Of course he knew. We call it DNA but in those days it would have been called something else.

Jesus wasn't a scientist. He didn't waste His time on useless things.

How do you know it isn't. God said the mysteries are hidden for them that love Him. God don't just reveal things to everybody. You can see what people do on this forum with what little they do know.
