PLEASE READ MATING DEER-HEAD CHIHUAHUA? BEFORE COMMENTING HEREa bit before this question)!!!!! (It will be better to understand)My dog was raised without so much dog interaction, and is wary of strangers, but does perfectly with related family members, family friends, and nice people, and with the occational friendly chihuahua. She has a perfect temperment, and is energetic, playful, cuddly, and pretty much is a chow chow-golden retriever mix in a largish Chihuahua body. She only does well with other people and other dogs ie they ignore her.

Sounds like a pet quality dog with a temperment problem. Breeding that makes you a BYB.

I too have a deer head Chihuahua. Just because you were wanting to breed your dog, doesnt make you a Back Yard Breeder! If you bred your dog over and over and over, while in bad health, and bad living conditions, then you'd be a BYB. Do you intent to make money off the puppies or keep them? I had planned on breeding my dog, and had many offers to breed him. But, had him neutered instead. Whether you breed or not is your decision. Although, I would try to socialize her some. My dog was the same way when I got him, but we've been working with him and he's coming along quite well. Consider socialization before breeding, just to be safe.

ok i just now look at your questions and maybe you should interact her more with dogs with out her being in heat and then when she is in heat then maybe she will allow them to tie with her then,,, or like Chihuahua lady said on your other question then maybe she just not breed quality and if she did let a male tie with her and had a litter she may not be a very good mom,, and that is very hard to take care of a litter of puppies if their mom dont take care of them,,, so that is my best suggestion to do is to have her socialized with other males out of seasoned then you will be able to see if she will be a good mom but if she is a good mom then that is great i hope I have helped and good luck with her and that is good that you are going to have her fixed if she doesnt do any better with in the next year cause then you will see if she is wants to be breed or not,,, Happy New Year and try to ignor all the rude comments that you have received most people dont want to help people that have question on breeding but i feel that someone has to start somewhere and at least you are trying to find out information for whats best for your dog,,, If you have any other questions please feel fee to email me and i will try to help as much as i can,, I have been a breeder of Min Pins for 10 years

This dog is not even within the breed standard and has bad temperament so she should not be bred. Get her spayed and quit trying to be a BYB.
