that's not true at all! she's dead and in Spirit Paradise. It's the apostle John that's still alive. and the three Nephites from 600 B.C.
the cup didn't make anyone live forever. Jesus died, didn't he? wasn't it the "last" supper? then Jesus was resurrected. the wine in the cup represents His blood which was shed for us to obtain eternal life. it's a step of repentance, only now we use water instead of wine. and wine back then was just grape juice.
