i'm asian & my hair is currently a light brown with my roots growing back, so i want to dye my hair either dark brown or black.

also, which brand is best to use to dye hair?

Dye it closest to your natural color. The best "home" color brand IMO is Miss Clairol, or Loreal.

I would go with dark brown because more highlights will show with that color over black, so it looks more natural, I would also suggest L'Oreal Ferria, I have good results w/ the color, there is a nice amount of conditioner in the box, last time I bought Ferria, it came w/ conditioner specifically for brown hair! Also it comes with a little "scent" package that makes the hair dye smell a little better....... also the Ferria has 3x highlights, in some of it's colors so you wont have one solid color all over

You should dye it close to your natural color, but if your natural is black, a dark brown would look good too

the dark brown color usually will end up looking black on most people. you could mix half and half

dk brown definitely b/c if you ever want to go lighter and you dye it blk u can forget it.

you should dye your hair black..and the best bran is herbal essence...oh and by the way...Asians never have brown hair...which means you're a FAKE!
