corn does get digested, the shell or kernal does not get digested because your body does not contain any enzymes to break down the polymer that the kernal is made out of; however, the insides are soft and full of nutrients.

Corn is a fibrous food and it is good for the body, especially in removing the toxic waste in your body. But then, it seems to me that you are on a diet ;) Well, kindly try this one.......All you have to do is to simply drink 8-12 glasses of water a day, no to carbonated drinks, sweets, chocolates, spicy, salty and fatty food. Just eat fruits and vegetables. Try it. I lose weight from 75kilos to 62kilos in 3 months.

Part of the corn is fiber but there is also lots of other good things like starches, and sugars to name a few.

yeah i noticed that too, as well as the skin of peppers and peanuts as well, lol
don't know what good corn is fer ya. but them ingines must've known sumptin

because it is roughage/fibre which helps to clear your system thru.. its like having all the inside bits scraped away, to put it mildly.
