Okay, last time I posted about my baby Sun Conure I got a lot of people saying I didn't research. So, let me fix that...

I researched.

Secondly, when I said ''he is well fed'', I didn't mean I'm putting seeds into a cup and assuming he's eating them. I do handfeed him three times a day and I also give him his water. So I didn't buy a baby bird because he was cute. I bought him knowing full-well the responsibilities that came with it.

He's not dead or dying. He's actually very healthy. Just to let all you pessimists know.

The entire reason I posted the first question wasn't for you guys to assume I'm not able to handle a six-week old baby bird. I am capable and he is doing just fine. I was only wondering if there was a specific reason as to why he was quiet in the store and the first day in my home and the next day he is noisy all the time.

Sorry about the confusion.

Still not a bad idea to stop by and see the vet.

Also, for decent bird discussion I suggest http://www.theperch.net

I have a Sun Conure, and let me tell you when I got him, he whistled made a couple cute noises, just the icing on the cake for the sale...then I got him home and the screaming began! LOL Conures thrive on repetitiveness, so rearranging their cage, environment etc, doesn't fit well with them! Sun Conures are one of the loudest species of the Aratingas, next to Nandays, they are much louder in my opinion. I've noticed though that my Sun when he starts calling for me if I just talk to him from the other room or whatever he will quiet down. Its just a security thing for them. That would be one recommendation. If indeed you are looking for a way to quiet him down, not sure didn't read your first question, you could cover his cage just for a minute or two, or until he stops screaming, then remove it. When I first brought my Sun home, he screamed often, but he hates being covered so when he screams like when on my shoulder or something I put him in his cage for a "time out" for 2-5 mins or when he stops screaming, then take him back out. He has dramatically cut back on his screaming, and its pretty much uncommon! Good luck!

Your additional information is helpful, thanks
Your baby has been taken away from everything familiar to him and put into your home where he recognizes nothing and nobody. Screaming is a flock-call and he's searching for a familiar face or sound. Until he feels safe in your home, he will scream, much as he's been doing already. It will lessen over time, but it's completely natural for him, given the circumstances.
Best wishes.

Hello. It's just a matter of adjusting to his new environment. I hope you and your bird share a great life together. What is his name? I still can't name my Quaker. I usually get names in a dream. This time, no luck. Keep up the wonderful work.

Bird stores have many other birds and the bird probably felt secluded and now he knows that you are his flock because you are feeding him
