Most certainly, if you have never became a Christian, you need to do so. Your friends are very precious friends, if they are attempting to persuade you to become a Christian; or to ask God to forgive you for your sins, and allow Jesus Christ to become your Savior and Lord of your life. Jesus is most certainly going to be returning to this earth very soon. And you do not want to be one who is left behind, when He raptures his children; or takes them with Him back to Heaven. The only way to become a Christian; and be certain that you are going to go to Heaven when you die; or when the Lord Jesus returns; is to ask God to forgive you for your sins, and to save your soul. Do not worry about not being fit to become a Christian; or deserving to be saved. Not a single human being is fit or deserves to be saved; including myself. But God does not save us because we deserve it; but because Jesus shed his blood and gave his life in our place; so that we would not have to die. God does not look at our worthiness, but at the blood of his Son Jesus Christ. When we go to Him in the name of Jesus, He sees the righteousness of Jesus; which is pure and clean in his eyes. This is why we pray in Jesus' name. Jesus made the way that we every one could go unto the Father God in perfect righteousness. Just ask Jesus to forgive your sins, and to come into your heart by faith, and then begin to thank Him and give Him praise for saving your soul; and your do not ever have to doubt that it has been done. I pray that you will do so before you go to bed tonight. For God the Heavenly Father loves you, Jesus loves you, and I also love you as a Christian. May God's richest blessings be yours.

This is the most important question you will ever be asked. It's not a club that you join. Christianity is acceptance of the free gift of salvation through the work Jesus did on the cross. Once you become a Christian, you will be a new person. God loves you so much that He died for you just the way you are. But He is the one that will do the work in you. If you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you will begin to stop wanting to do those things like cussing - it will be natural not to cuss, because you will have the Holy Spirit as counselor.

If you believe in Christ and His resurrection, and confess it with your mouth, you are saved.
However, understanding the extent of the sacrifice that Christ made is part of the believing. If you believe He was the Son of God, and still died the way He did so that there was no more sin barrier between you and God, then the Holy Spirit will change you.
If you honestly believe, then pray and ask Christ to come in and take control of your life. If you let Him, He will not only take your sin, but He will clean up your actions and thoughts.

No one can decide this for you. You need to search for yourself. If you are really interested, ask your friends if you can go to church with them sometimes. Start reading the Holy Bible and if you are interested, pray about what choices you should make. Good luck.
God Bless you and have a safe and Happy New Year.

If you want to have God in your life pick up the Bible and get to know him. If you are searching for him he will lead the way. Make sure things make sense to you don't just take mans word.

It would be nice if you followed a religion some day but let it be something you believe in and in your time. Don't let anybody bully you into something you don't want or believe. Be true to yourself.

you should do it if you feel comfortable doing it. God won't get mad at you for swearing (but some churchgoers, on the other hand, will, if they hear you say it.)
