i think that's cool if a band member wants to be friends with a cheerleader. if you really want to be friends with the cheerleader, go for it. who cares about school's society and social hierarchies? why not go against them?

I JUST LOVE THE SCHOOL QUESTIONS...........OK heres what you do, you give everyone else the finger and live your life, Cause most of the poeple you know during high school you wont once you leave, youll keep your good friends, toss out the bad, make new ones and keep your highschool sweetheart if it works out. Fair enough?

yeah, it's fine. i'm in band, too, and at my old high school i had cheerleader friends. at my other school the cheerleaders weren't such deadbeats, either... but it's totally cool.

theres nothing wrong with that its just 2 people getting involved with school activites. the ones giving you crap about it are jealous. dont lose your friends because of "populatity"
