This is a very good source that I found on the web. I will also be checking out additional sources for the purposes of cross-referencing. As the bible says, "at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established."
(Deuteronomy 19:15b)

This is why God wants us always to look into things for verification, so as not to be beguiled by believing everything we read and hear. I wish you well. And I will let you know of other sources I find. One thing I will say is that there are those whose purpose is to study the timelines by means of the biblical record as it coincides with the Hebrew calendar - they do this for accuracy of knowledge, and it also prevents them from being accused of falsehood.

OMG - I would like to say that the Catholic Church decided which books IT would include and exclude from ITS bible! The Catholic Church wanted Genesis and Revelation EXCLUDED, and the Apocryphal books (which are not divinely inspired scripture nor ever referred to by Y'shua (Jesus) or any of his disciples and apostles) INCLUDED. I pray to God in the name of Y'shua hamashiach (Jesus the Christ) that you don't believe the Catholic Church for anything having to do with the bible! The early church, which was not, and did not later become, Catholic, as well as rabbis with regards to the Old Testament books KNEW which books were divinely inspired, and both rejected outright the inclusion of the Apocryphal books. True Christians preserved God's Word through faithful copies - the Roman Catholic Church in fact did all to destroy these faithful copies and also spent over a millenium killing true Christians and Jews! If you would like to know all there is to know about the coming BEAST and FALSE PROPHET - then that is when you believe all that the Catholic Church, i.e. the Vatican, promotes!

The word Bible comes from the Greek word that means "books". The Bible is a collection of Writings about God, about Gods relationship with human kind, about our relationship with God, and about how God wants people to relate to one another.
Many different people, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, rote the books of the Bible. The entire Bible was written in different times and places, over a period of approx. 1000 years, from about 900BC to 100AD
Inspired means that God is the author of the Bible, but it does not mean God dictated the Bible word for word.
God chose certain people who made use of their abilities with the Holy Spirit acting in them and through them. Then they wrote the truth that God wanted us to know for our salvation. There are 39 books in the Protestant Old Testament and 46 books in the Catholic Old Testament. We know the authenticity of this books and those of the new testaments because of other texts written such as Herodius 388-428BC, the earliest copy 900AD a 1300 yr lapse 8 copies generated as well as Ceasars Gaelic War written 48-58 BC with the earliest copy being in 900AD, a 950 yr lapse.
The New Testament written 40-100AD, earliest copy in 130AD and with the Old Testa. around 350AD, a 30-310 yr time lapse, no. of copies 5000+ Greek, 10,000 Latin 9,300 others.

By virtue of this divinely-appointed authority, the Catholic Church determined the canon of Scripture (what books belong in the Bible) at the end of the fourth century. We therefore believe in the Scriptures on the authority of the Catholic Church. After all, nothing in Scripture tells us what Scriptures are inspired, what books belong in the Bible, or that Scripture is the final authority on questions concerning the Christian faith. Instead, the Bible says that the Church, not the Scriptures, is the pinnacle and foundation of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15) and the final arbiter on questions of the Christian faith (Matt. 18:17). It is through the teaching authority and Apostolic Tradition (2 Thess. 2:15; 3:6; 1 Cor. 11:2) of this Church, who is guided by the Holy Spirit (John 14:16,26; 16:13), that we know of the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and the manifold wisdom of God. (cf. Ephesians 3:10).

Go to your library and check out a book on Bible history. Several things have been added and deleted over the centuries and there are different versions. Some have different words in the same passages giving different interpretations.
Some people claim the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God. If it is, why are there the different versions with different meanings?

Moses wrote the first five books of the Old Testment, the others are dispersed, Joshua wrote Joshua, Jonah, Jonah. My bible tells me who wrote which book, but I cant find it atm :( Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were all written by those people, from their POV of what happened. If you can find a good Bible, might tell you. I got mine as a gift when I was in 5th grade, and now i'm 23! Good luck and God Bless.
