Chose a amplified rabbit ear type from walmart.
they usually have a knob on the front to adust for the best reception.
I personally have a outdoor type mounted on the side of the house.
we get 11 channels clearly and 2 kinda fuzzy.

NOTE FOR CHEF> when your out in the boonies the only way to get a even halfway hispeed connection is via satellite.
I use Hughes net satellite for internet service.

Even dialup out here doesn't work, they only guarantee a 23K connection and if it rains that didn't work either..........

Shortwave- U can just string out anything with metal on it and dialup the world!
