Neither our own experiences nor our understanding of the Bible are completely infallible.

Good Luck.

Genesis 30:37-39
Then Jacob took fresh rods of poplar and almond and plane, and peeled white streaks in them, exposing the white of the rods. He set the rods which he had peeled in front of the flocks in the runnels, that is, the watering troughs, where the flocks came to drink. And since they bred when they came to drink, the flocks bred in front of the rods and so the flocks brought forth striped, speckled, and spotted.

contradicts what I"VE seen. if a christian has seen this take place, then more power, but from what i've seen rods of various kinds have NO effect on the spotted-ness nor striped-ness of a newborn animal.

Job 38:22
Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail?

are we to believe, then, that snow and hail are stored away in then heavens?

my experience is ALL i have, for i do NOT trust the experience of others except that which i can weigh against my own. the further removed from my experience it is, the less i believe it has to be true.

EDIT:
MRS. MOM
the only reason you KNOW that it's man's teaching and not god is because the bible tells you that god is perfect! that's the cat chasing it's own tail! if the bible is fallacious, then all entries therein are under scrutiny. you cannot say god is blameless because the very reason you believe god is blameless is ALSO under scrutiny... this requires that you look OUTSIDE the bible. and where outside the bible do we learn that god is perfect? from other people who believe in the bible! take away the bible and that god disappears.

My Dad once told me about ten years ago when I was having problems with figuring things out.
If you think that the Bible is wrong or contradicting its self then you should ask your self if its the mans teaching of the bible that was wrong or God. Well this was a easy answer I new that it would have to be mans teaching and not Gods.
Hope this helps some one as much as it did me.

the world was here a long time before I got here and it will be here a long time after I am gone, I am but a speck, who am I to think I am so great, so intelligent, so knowing that my own eyes and experience should be my god or my only source of information. My experiences and what I have seen are limited, even for what I am capable of knowing and understanding, much less compared to the entire realm of knowledge and experience there is out there- I trust God's word - period!

you should not let the bible live your life or rule your live. if you feel differently about society, then you must contradict and live life how you want to live. you'll live healthier and stress free. turst me. the bible, the bible? I am my own bible. I have a story to tell everyone too. I will fix my problems by learning things my way, ther right way.

The word of God, of course. If you look up into the sky and see stars, they appear very tiny to your eye, yet astronomers will tell you they are very large bodies, what do you believe, your eyes or the astronomer?
