There is one guy who is moving way too fast for me and it is becoming a deterrent for me. I really can't take it, I am feeling smothered and annoyed. Another guy, I really like. He gives me butterflies. His problem is that he is really focused on his career and his daughter. He says that he has deep feelings for me. Do I wait for him, tolerate and understand the guy who really likes me or leave them both alone? My last relationship lasted for 10 years and there are still a couple of scars left.

Oh First guy is the police! He's an officer and has been assigned to the area near my job. We've been talking for like a month and he's mentioned babies, moving in together, and he gave me a key to his house!

You answered your own question with regards to the first guy. YOu said you 'cant take it'
if you can't, then dont!
ITs not fair to him or you.
The second guy with the kid might be a better catch, but run from the smothering man
YOU will grow to hate him in the very near future
and he might grow violent.
The second guy with the kid...does he have custody?
how old is the kid
be mindful of the baby mama issues
is THAT relationship over
sometimes when the child is young the child's mother does not want the father to be with anyone else or she will hold the daughter hostage
that is alot of power
and who knows, you might not even like his daughter
go slow with that
and keep looking
niether one of these choices sounds like one I would stop time for

You need to get rid of your stalker. Go down to the police station and get a restraining order if you need to. The other guy with the daughter, unless you are prepared to always be 3rd place to his career and daughter, you should not be with him. Maybe it's good to just date around and see different guys so that you have a better idea of what is actually out there. It seems like you've been out of it for a while. You need to have some fun.

i say dont take either too seriously, i know better said th an done. Why not just enjoy the moment and see where things go? Obviously if you are looking to settle this is not such a good idea and i would say forget both of them. Which this may be the case anyhow since you have aproblem with both. Find someone who makes you 100 percent happy.

You have to decide what you want. If one is too fast, then don't allow yourself to be pulled into something that you are not ready for. On the other hand, Maybe, you can talk to the career guy. let him know how feel, and maybe you two can take things slow. Don't blow him off. Relationships take time and understanding. Good luck.

The butterfly one it shows that he takes time on important things like his daughter. The ones that sounds annoying could be a stalker in the future.

the other guy who gives you butterfiles and is focused on his career and daughter. He seems very down to earth and he is goin the right pace for you. And if he says he has deep feelings for you then that is really good.. you know he really cares for you at least

go for the butterflies guy, but take it slow. don't hang out with him on an agenda...just let things happen as they come. you'll be so glad you did! If it takes time, it will be just that much better when it finally happens! don't rush it!
