Guys if you told a girl that was one of your best friends that she was "beautiful and sexy" all the time, and she said "ohh nah, thank you" and you said that she had a wonderful heart and that you hoped you were friends forever and also and you were always touching her back and sides and hugging her...why wouldn't you ask her out if you really felt that way?

Maybe he thinks that because you are all of those things that you already have someone else (or a bunch of someone elses)
maybe he is shy
maybe he does not feel worthy of a girl like you
maybe he does not want to ruin the firendship

Love nice ladies. I wish I could find more of them and fewer bitches. Can't stand a woman who will mistreat me badly. I am a firm believer in being the best and most loving guy a woman can have, but I am not afraid to bolt like lightning if those feelings aren't reciprocated.
Bad girls may be the freakiest in bed, but make very poor life partners.

It's always hard being friends with somone when you want more than being just friends. It really sound slike this guy loves your company and really enjoys being your friend. Unfortunately the key word is friend. Most friends usually say nice things to their friends. Thats what makes them a friend. This guy probably enjoys your company a lot and loves talking to you about things. knows who he can depend on, etc. But for theromantic stuff, it's jsut not you he wants. My advice is don't let you rfeeling for him stop you from maybe meeting someone else.

Only thing I can think of is that she has never given him any indication that she thinks of him as anything more than a friend. In other words, he expects that if he asks her out, she'll turn him down. Men are not mind-readers, and we hate rejection too.

he probably feels like you are shutting him down, or not interested.
i am crazy about my best friend(girl) and i would ask her out but every time i compliment her she just shuts me down, i asked her out once she asked if i was joking, I swore to my self i would never do that again. yet i still havent asked her out. if you like him back maybe you should show it a little more
