I'm not quite sure what you mean by several centimeters below the surface? How can you see that deeply?
My guess is, you can actually see the hair. That means the hair is just below the outer layer of the skin. If that is the case, you can CAREFULLY use a sterile very thin needle and cut/dig out just the small portion of the hair by ONLY cutting the outer layer of the skin. From there, you can hook the hair UP and remove it with a tweezers.
I have done this myself several times. If you cannot do this, then go see a doctor.
If you are hurting, you are probably inflamed/infected in that area. It may get a little worse before it gets better.

when i was 6-7 years old i got my foot stuck in the drain several times!! the wierd thing is that its the SAME drain,..EVERYDAY! haha! i just never learn to walk away from it. when i was 9 my family still use the old version of the washing machine..you know how now days the lid is at the front but the old version is on the top, its not an automatically locked type of lid so we can actually touch it when it does the wash. i once put my finger in the middle where clothes were spinning like crazy. and it got wrapped around my finger so tight i couldnt take it out. i screamed and my mom came over and stopped the machine in time before i lose my finger hehe

Its actually very common with pet owners,i have a yellow labrador and on two occasions a hair has going gone into the bottom of my foot ,once in my heel and once under my little toe,you need to dig it out with a needle then pull it out with tweezers, they can be quite painful and feel like your walking with a pin in your foot .it doesn't grow though it just goes in like a splinter does.

Had hair splinter in arch of foot for 13 years! Diagnosed as a fibroma or plantar wort..as completed covered by hard layer of callous, very painful. Menthol rub took dead skin down then apply apple cider vinegar n turmeric every night for 3week. Turns black and comes to the surface very painful as penetrates the skin but persevere.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://biturl.im/aULSF While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Sounds like an ingrown hair. I don't think you can pull it out, it will irritate it too much. You need to wait until it grows out. It shouldn't hurt too much longer! Maybe a few days or so! How did ya get one on your foot? Ouch. You usually get it by shaving. I would wait, it should feel better in a few days!

I think it's almost impossible for a hair to grow on the bottom of the foot, but maybe it is a plantar wart. Plantar warts are very painful and look like little black dots below the skin. If it looks like it's a wart you can go to the doctor to have it removed or buy liquid treatments for warts at a pharmacy (over-the-counter).
