You haven't as you are still alive, and what you are dealing with is grief and despair, two of the most difficult Human emotions to conquer. You are not alone, I lost my Wife 14 years ago, and have had to raise our son on my own from when he was a baby. You turn this around by thanking your lucky stars every day, no matter how few they are, starting with the fact that you are alive, which is the greatest gift of all, then be thankful for all the positive things you have experienced and discard the rest. Finally, learn to live in the "Now", because that is the only time period that is really relevant in life, and we tend to complete ignore, so wrapped up are we in what ifs or if only whens, that we don't see what's right in front of us. One step at a time, breathe deep the air, and experience life!!!!

You sound as though you are not confused but terribly depressed. I won't give you platitudes about how every cloud has a silver lining and I won't say tomorrow will be a brighter day..all the usual "oh, it'll be alright" crap. Whatever circumstance you're in right now must be pretty drastic. You could possibly be suffering from clinical depression, in which case you may need meds to get you back to feeling more normal again. Get some professional help. I can only speak from experience, but I do know that it is much easier to give in and sink into that black hole than it is to fight back. Take your sadness or whatever it may be to the Lord. You might think He couldn't care less about you, but He does. Why do you think one of His names is "the Great Physician"? It's because He is the healer and what you have is an illness. If you have a pastor, talk to him. I'm sorry for whatever is hurting you and I sincerely hope you get some better answers than mine. Because of some things I have been through, I have developed a philosophy. It's that I refuse to have any more bad days in my life. Every day that I wake up, I get to choose if I will have a bad day or a good one, and since I never know which one is to be my last one, I'll just be damned if my last one will be a bad one. I'm sorry for the pain you're in.. God bless you.

Don't give up. There's a solution to every problem, you just have to take some quiet time to figure it out. I've been there. Go to the library and read up on self-esteem and building confidence in whatever problem you might be having. People go through some real tough times. It helps you appreciate when things do go right and they will. It would be a pretty boring path if we didn't experience suffering in order to rejoice in better times. You will get through the rough times. Don't stop in the middle, keep going till you reach happiness on the other side!

sweetie - it is ok to feel this way you cant ALWAYS feel great. The fact that u can say the way you feel means that you are not as lost as you think you are. You need to stop think and listen to your heart for a moment. Nothing in life is worth getting so upset over that you get so lost in your life, this may sound hard but its true - think back for a moment ok...think of when you thought everything was going wrong and it was the end of your life as you know it...it got better right.....Well this is the samething just on a different road of life. Think of the good things u have in your life keep them close and love them more its going to be ok in the end. xox

I don't know what u have lost all hope in. But getting hope and joy and happiness back is very hard. You have to realize that you're life will be he way you make it. Remeber everyday has a new beginning and new possiblities. Also a little prayer here and ther never hurts.
