I am interested in doing Tai Chi-I was wondering if anyone has everyone done it and what your thought are on Tai Chi? like does it help deal with stress? Also, can it help you lose weight? Is it easy for beginners?
Thanks!

Tai Chi is in essence a slow moving martial arts. It follows a set list of movements, designed to focus the mind and body.

It would help deal with stress, as you need to really concentrate to do the actions correctly - but without the pressure of a combat environment.

Very easy for beginners, and you can practice pretty much anywhere.

Any physical exercise can help you lose weight. Tai Chi is not a high cardio activity, but you will feel it if you don't stretch/warm up beforehand.

I never knew or did a "Tai Chi", but I did do a "Lisa Wong" back in high school. Damn she was a fine asian chick.
