This is what I use to make them for my family. I use 3 slices of toasted bread, pile on deli turkey and ham, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese. I like mine with a bit of mayo, where my husband likes mayo and a bit of spicey mustard. My kids prefer niether of those. So it's whatever your preference is really.

Quick and Easy : San Francisco Club Sandwich

3 slices bacon
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
3 slices sourdough bread, toasted
Sliced turkey
Sliced herb-garlic or Swiss cheese
1 tablespoon chutney
Romaine lettuce

Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat; drain and reserve. Combine mayonnaise and TABASCO® Pepper Sauce in a small bowl and mix well. Spread on one side of each slice of toast. Top one slice toast with turkey and cheese; top with another slice of toast and bacon, chutney and romaine. Finish with toast and anchor with toothpicks. Cut in half.

Makes 1 to 2 servings.

You can make one out of anything you like...the idea behind a club sandwich is...it has a 'middle' slice of bread. In other words...it has three slices instead of just two.

three slices of bread, ham ,cheese, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato. When I was in VietNam in Oct. they used stir fry chicken, so it was sliced real thin, instead of turkey and added cucumber it was great

go to a club, and put a piece of bread on each side of the building, and bite!
