My mothers birthaday is today, my aunts is tomorrow and mine is saturday. I have a sisiter who's bithday is 1/3. Here is the promblem we always have one big party. I want my own party. I was going to throw my self a party this year but no one is going to show up because they'll be at the big party. I started planning my party on my birthday weeks ago. They just decided to throw the big party on my birthday yesterday. Am I being selfish to want my own party? Would it be wrong to ask them to move the date of the big party?

You are not selfish at all!! My birthday is 12/24 can you imagine the grief I had growing up? Never a party cause everybody was doing the Christmas thing. It was always " Oh, yeah, happy birthday, could you grab something from under the tree, i am just so busy." Go with your gut, if you want a party and they won't change it, go somewhere and have a nice dinner(by yourself if you have to) grab a friend and go to a club or just stay @ home take a bubble bath, have a glass of wine and listen to your favorite tunes. rent a movie you've been wanting to see and watch it. Hey, I feel like i'm the queen of trying to get a party of my own on christmas eve.

I get that 2-in-1 party thing, too. Sometimes, it's best to go along with the big party. But, why don't you have *your* party on a different weekend, maybe make it your special weekend every year? You can even celebrate your birthday *month* instead of just one day, if you time it right....one party at the beginning to kick it off and one at the end of the month to wrap it up. :-) How cool is that?

Happy Birthday!

I would suggest discussing your feelings with them at least a week or two before the party, maybe more so that they can change their plans. Asking them to do it two days before the party is unfair and yes, it's selfish, but if you give them time to make arrangements a while before the party is planned then it is a reasonable request. Everyone deserves a day to feel special.

i will wager the clarification which you left the GOP is as a results of the subject that i might replace. they have been no longer able to modern-day a coherent message. The previous rule in PR and politics is that in case you do no longer define your self, your opponent will define you. regrettably, the media and the Democrats have defined the GOP in a damaging gentle - precisely the alternative of what it is. The Republican occasion ought to get right down to the uncomplicated elementary concept that it helps a smaller Federal government based on the 10th modification to the form - those powers no longer noticeably granted to the federal government are reserved to the States and to the human beings - and which ability much less government spending and occasional taxes to motivate financial growth. interior that framework, we would desire to continually no longer care what you do on your very own existence as long because it does not impinge on the rights of others. We help a solid and assertive national protection to circulate issues off on the bypass in an attempt to speak, yet we would desire to continually no longer be the international's policeman. The GOP has made a important errors in failing to stand up for a constrained set of surely defensible concepts that artwork to permit human beings interior the U. S. and around the area to attain fulfillment. they have allowed the occasion to get hijacked and distracted with the aid of a bunch of bullsh^t that has no relation to those concepts. in the event that they bypass back to the basics, they are able to surely sell the occasion in an outstanding way because of the fact the least confusing and ultimate way out to fulfillment and the yank Dream.
