Whenever I read a book or look at something close, my eyes REALLY hurt, like, they feel very strained, I can still see fairly clearly, it's not blurry or anything, but It just hurts a lot. I don't think it's near/far sightedness because nothing goes fuzzy it just hurts. What is this??

Thanks

I would see a doc anyway. You don't say your age. Could be just eye strain if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer. Could be something else.

Guess its time to go and see Optometrist.

They will be able to help help out and suggest a few things. If you are a student and need to do lots of reading, then eye muscle strain will cause hurt that you are expereincing.. again have a check out at the Opto and they have solutions for u

Visit your local optician. It could be something as simple as you needing glasses or it could be something more serious. U won't know until u see a trained professional. I had a similar condition, in my case it turned out to be a detached retina in my left eye. I had it treated in time and prevented blindness in that eye.

Make an appointment with your optometrist/opthamologist. You may need reading glasses. Regardless, you need to have things checked out.
