Generally as was said the only way you will lose pounds without exercise is to take in fewer calories.
However, if you eat less, your body may go into conservation mode and burn less.
To counter this, you need to fool your body into thinking it got the food it wants even when it doesn't.
A good source of Hoodia will suppress your apetite making you feel full and like you just ate allowing you to burn the same amount of calories without eating as much.
You should have no problem losing 10 pounds.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

quit eating...! Just kidding.
Cut back on the soda intake and drink water ALL the time, especially before meals. Walk every where you can. Park the car at the farthest end of the parking lot and always take the stairs, unless you work on the 80th floor. but still get off early and walk the last few flights. Sounds like exercise but if you have to get there anyway why not lose weight getting there.

yes, there is. Do not eat more than 1000 kcal a day and you will start to loose pounds. Just remember: two first weeks are the worst, it can be a shock for your system so it will try to defend itself , it will not want to loose pounds. Be patient , you will start to loose pounds after two weeks at the latest. I've lost 32 pounds this way. Good Luck!

No. You only lose weight when you burn more calories than you consume. Weight loss is a slow process. When carried out in a healthy manner, you can lose up to a pound per week.

Some say that eating Special K cereal for two of your three meals a day can allow you to lose up to five pounds in two weeks, but I cannot confirm this. And it is not meant for long-term weight loss.

You should exercise. The whole population is getting lazy. Exercise is good for you, and keeps your body healthy. At least go for a walk each day!

Sure, slash you calories but you can loose it alot faster with exercise. Weightloss/a healthy lifestyle are two different things. If you want to be healthy, then you will need to exercise.

Sure, but it will likely be a slower process. Just concentrate on what you eat. 4-5 small, healthy meals throughout the day works for me.
