I met this guy I had been talking with online for a couple months, and there was something seriously not right with him. I should have never met him. Very jealous and immature. He won't leave me alone on sites, and I have no idea how he finds me when I'm online. Any suggestions on making him go away short of calling the police?

Yes he does know my real name, we met in person. He knows what kind of car I drive. Lives close to my home. I feel he knows where I live at and has hacked my computer as well, since we started talking my computer has been compromised daily. This is why I am concerned.

You SHould never share you personal info online! And your right, you should have never met him. Now you can say that hes an internet stalker. Make sure you dont share your personal info. Call the police right away before he finds out who you really are and other info about you!

And another one bites the dust ,,,,, I've heard about this very thing from other people that meet a computer contact face to face ,,,,,, They always seem to wind up very sorry for it ,,,, Well where the computer is concerned you can always put him on your ignore list or report his messages as spam I guess and report him to your provider ,,,, As for the other problem of him bothering you ,,,, You can always have a restraining order placed on him and report him as a stalker ,,,, This all sounds to me like a valuable lesson learned for future reference though ,,,, You might try changing your SN on your account also ,,,, Wipe every thing he knows about you out and start over ,,,,,, Good luck with this and be more careful in the future ,,,,

Have you two met face to face? Does he have your number and know where you live? If the answer is yes to both questions then you may not have much of a choice but to get a restraining order against him if he is harassing you. Otherwise, ignore him while you are online. If you know who is internet service provider and username, then report him to the prospective owners for harassment. If push comes to shove, change out your email address and username.

Is his name Bill (jk)? Anyways tell him to go away, block him from your messenger and whatever sites you can. Change your email if you have too. If he doesnt know who you really are you should be safe, but if he does you might want to get some extra help involved.

Change your settings so that they say that you're offline, even if you're not. Do you have a particular forum or group of people that you like to chat with? Ask the moderator to ban him from them, and block him from IMing you.
