Interesting comments, i wish some of you would'nt be so Judgementail though , assuming I am either a beliver or non beliver, that does not matter. It's that the bible is overused and over discussed as proof of God. Too many times Dogma is being discussed instead of faith. I want to know if anyone can put up a decent case without refering to any religious books.

The Bible does not prove that there is a God, but, can you prove there isn't one?

There are many arguments for the existence of God apart from the Bible, however, those who don't believe in God will not listen to them. At one time in history these were called "apologetics" which was a defense of the gospel and the word of God.

The true proof is His Spirit indwelling you impating spiritual Life, "He that has the son has life, he that does not have the son does not have life and the wrath of God abides in Him" Jesus living in You is the hope of Glory what more could you possess what more could you prove!

There is no way to prove the existence of God with or with out the Bible. You have to completely rely on faith. The Bible is a collection of Myths. Stories handed down from culture to culture and generation to generation.
P.S There were over 150 Gospel stories and they only picked 4 to put in your Bible. What of the rest?

ok simple answer; no. all the science in the world can only prove the existance of anything within this universe and its dimensions. if we assume that 'god' is a being beyond these, which to create the universe he would have to be, then there is no way to detect him whatsoever.

we can however argue that it is possible for a being to exist outside the universe.. if we assume that this universe and everything in it is governed by the laws of physics and so on, and we assume that although some things still appear random, there will be laws at work, then it kinds rules out free will, as everything would be predetermined by these rules. me, i like free will, so i would argue that because of this, we must have existance beyond this universe we live in too, and as such a higher being such as god may exist currently.

the only way to really know is to witness a miricle as it were yourself, something which cannot be explained by any combination of physical laws or eventualities. these however are hard to come by so again i would have to revert to my initial answer of no.

No. Here is the fundamental principle of science: it is better to reject something that is true than to accept something that is false. If you want to be a 'rational,' scientific thinker, then you must reject any theory that does not have sufficient evidence. This is a necessary evil in the world of technology, which makes scientific minds perfect tools. But it is inherently opposed to the human cognitive process. Science will always be wrong, because it will always reject true facts due to a lack of evidence. If self-professed atheists applied the same logic to daily life, they would not be able to function. Imagine - you couldn't visit the McDonalds in a strange town, because you would have to admit that there is no evidence for a McDonalds.

"With God, all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Yes, it is quite possible. Look at all the wonders of nature. The more I study science, the more convinced I am that I serve a creative and wonderful God! It is just amazing how every organism, every smallest being, has a purpose and is so well-suited to that purpose. No "evidence" anyone can provide will convince me that God does not exist, or that evolution is how it happened.

I would just like to know how this evolution theory makes sense to people, but perhaps that's just me.

Actually, several scientists are researching and finding amazing evidence proving God exists and proving Creationism to be accurate.

You know, this reminds me of that wonderful old hymn, "He Lives".

He Lives
by Alfred H. Ackley
"I serve a risen Savior, He's in the world today,
I know that He is living, whatever men may say,
I see His hand of mercy,
I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him, He's always near,

He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today,
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way,
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart,
You ask me how I know he lives?
He lives within my heart!"

Well, God bless you! I will keep you all in prayer!
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." Revelation 22:21

I would say YES.. The new scientific discovery of the chirality of all proteins and DNA makes the theory of spontaneous life as unlikely as the world being flat. That old fashion science has to give way to the science that come so close to proof that intelligent design can almost be called LAW not mere theory... Jim

Yes, it's a individual relationship to most, it's a spiritual feel to some, it's usually faith at first, then God gives the believe some personal proof.

It's not possible to prove it even with the Bible. The only "Proof" you'll ever have is that which is sufficient for you alone. If you're relying on other people's proof to show you that God is real, you're relying on inherited faith. If you want to believe, you need your own faith.

look at the blades of grass, snow flakes fingerprints, and other items. MNo two are exactly alike, the Earth works perfectly as a closed eco system, the milky way galaxy, the infinite universe.

If you can look at all of that wonder with the closed mind of a cynic; you have my compassion.

For a real eye opener; read "The Biology Of Belief" Dr. Bruce Lipton.

The existence of god can't be proven in any way shape or form to some people. Now there are others that don't need to have others prove it to them.
