They sell THE SATANIC BIBLE in BARNS AND NOBLE! How can the sell somthing so evil? They are teaching are childreen how to worship the devil. This means more murder and human sacracies.
How can we let such evil things be sold in a christian nation. And if you say the U.S is not a christian nation, you are wrong. ALL of our founding fathers and presidents were Christians.

Have you ever read the Satanic Bible? Of course you haven't, because you would not have asked this question if you had.

You clearly have no understanding of the Satanic Bible or Satanism, as both have *nothing* to do with the devil. Satanists do not believe in *any* religion and are Atheist. Only Satanist imposters and posers would do the things you mention in your Question.

"How can we let such evil things be sold in a christian nation." How can we let pornography be sold in "a christian nation?" It is because, in the U.S. and other similarly-minded nations, groups and individuals have a set of freedoms. Many of the other Answerers had very good responses to this.

I would also argue that the "founding fathers" of the U.S. were not Christian in the sense to which you are accustomed. They were largely products of the Great Awakening and the Enlightenment, which leads to a kind of Christianity not followed in modern times. They practiced what has been dubbed "Rational Christianity." Plus, a good number of these "founding fathers" were Freemasons, a secret society that has been (irrationally) linked to the devil.

Why do so many people keep saying the founders of America were Christians? They were Masons and wanted freedom of religion for everyone without persecution. Read the history books. As for the santanic bible, have you read it? I have, I even have a copy of it somewhere. It was boring and a waste of money. I don't remember reading anywhere in about human sacrifices. If you want to condemn something, at least read it so you know what it is you're talking about. I'll bet you don't like Harry Potter either. That's much better read than the Santanic Bible will ever be. And so many millions of kids are reading about witchcraft and spells. We'll have whole new generations of witches before long.

Hmmmm maybe because of the First Amendment???

Ya know, that little thing called Freedom of Speech?

If you don't like it, don't look. Nobody's forcing you.

And the US is NOT a Christian nation. And not all of the founding fathers were Christian, contrary to popular belief.

If you knew ANYTHING about the Satanic Bible, it's not about worshipping Satan. It's more about regarding yourself as your own god.

If your kid is going to worship the devil based on seeing that book, then you aren't doing a good job at being their parent.

Satanism is a religion. Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and freedom of the press. If you don't like it, you have two choices:
1. Get an amendment passed repealing the First Amendment (not likely)
2. Move to another country

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, among others, were Deists, not Christians.

Edit: I also would like to point out, Borders and Waldenbooks also sell the Satanic Bible!

The first amendment to the Bill of rights allows them to sell satanic literature and any other literature they desire to seel.

The first amendement to the constitution states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Our founders may have been Christians of one stripe or another or they may not have been. Thats a matter of debate. But what isnt in debate is the statement above.

If you actually read The Satanic Bible, or anything about it, you would know that it is a work of fiction. I suppose you think Harry Potter books should also be removed from public consumption, and if you believe that, then let's just get rid of most of the books in the science fiction and fantasy aisle as well. Our founding fathers were Deists and believed in freedom of religion. Perhaps you should spend some time in the History aisle.

1. If you want a Christian nation, then you need to go back to where Christianity came from. All you who say that stuff are greedy, and isn't greed a sin or something?

2. Free speech. This kind of thing, even if less public years ago, has probably been around forever. Violence is probably no worse then long ago, just more thought about and justice sought.

Perhaps you've heard of the United States Constitution? Well, the bit about freedom of speech is considered to cover written material as well. If you wish to live somewhere the government censors books may I respectfully direct you to Iran?

Besides, intelligent people don't take the Satanic Bible seriously.
