Pigtails stand out from your conventional ponytail. you could try plats or braiding (Balistyle!) . For a truly different idea fudge brand hairdyes come in an exceptional range of colours! these are semi-permanent and wont ruin your hair.

try doing a ponytail like my avatars. i do mine like that, it doesn't hang on my shoulder b/c mt hair isn't that long, but it still looks cute. but if it bugs you when it's down, then do something cute with it when it's up, like make it look interesting.
