Prostatis is the inflammation of prostate gland, there are 4 types acute bacterial , chronic prostatitis ,nonbacterial prostatitis, prostatodynia .The most common bacterias causing chronic prostatitis are Escherichia coli and proteus, Enterobacter, and klebsiella bacteria.
Acute bacterial prostatitis is characterised by sacute onset of fever with rigors and chill, burning micturation and pelvic pain.
In bacterial prostatitis, sexual transmission of bacteria is common, but hematogenous, lymphatic, and contiguous spread of infection from surrounding anatomy must also be considered. Although various routes have been postulated, none have been firmly substantiated.
