I don't know much about Lot but I do know that God blessed Abraham and his seed(children) when God tested Abraham's faith by asking him to sacrifice his son(kill him) for God. Abraham did not want to but since it was Gods will he was about to but an angel sent from God prevented him from doing so. Abraham had a legitimate son Isaiah (Jews) and illegitimate son Ishmael (Arabs) with his maid servent . Both his sons were blessed by God in land and prosperity. Hope this helps a bit.

Lot was a related to Abraham...

In the old testament before Christ, the people who obeyed God's laws were tested by their faith. They would have to sacrifice innocent animals in God's way and build a tabernacle which was holy to worship God.

The wones prior to JC are certainly saved - Remember that these whom you do not want to name - Jews, invented the god that you worship. they got the big 10 from god hisself. they wrote all the laws of the Judaic religion. Not JC made it clear that people should follow the law - meaning the laws put forth in the Bible. He did not establish any new religion or sect or ways fo worshiping the god of his fathers. He was explicit about what should and should not be done. Nowhere did he suggest that any thing should deviate from the teaching and lwas of the old testament. that is all the invention of so called christians. Christians are NOT believers in god because the DO NOT follow the commandments and laws put forth in the old testament. JC said that there was new and eternal covenant but he did not day that the old rules are abandoned. JC did not say to worship him either - that also is an invention of christians. When you look at the situation carefully, it is far more likely that the Jews - who indeed are "The choosen ones" will be saved because they adhere to the original, unchanged laws that god gave to them 5000 years ago. not some newfangled fairy tales written down about 1800 years ago. You have no proof, of course, that JC approves of the new testaments. They are the writing of comment men trying to recount what event he Jews admit, was a self styled profit. There is absolutely irrefutable proof, that would stand up in a court of law, that JC was anything but the son of Joseph and Mary - who was a jew, therefor JC was legally - and through traditional ceremony also a Jew.

Catholics believe that after Jesus died on the cross, he descended into Sheol, the place of the dead. While there He freed the holy souls who awaited their savior in Abraham's bosom.

Whether or not Adam and Eve or Abraham or Lot were in the group of the just or the damned, I'm not sure. But I always hope that people are reconciled to God.

With love in Christ.

They were saved because they believed in God and did what he told them to do. It" pretty simple : before the Redemption observing the natural law (which is written in our hearts) was what saved men. However you must not forget that it was only when Christ died that these people had access to Heaven - until that moment they were in a state of longing (without suffering) It would be later called Abraham"s bosom

Read Ezekiel chapter 18. Salvation is not a get-out-of-hell-free card. Jesus did not die on the cross to take the penalty for our sins. Even the Apostle Paul says that there was sin imputed from the time of Adam to Moses.

According to the bible Abraham was a liar who took credit for what god did and was a murderer. Also according to the bible, Lot was a drunken letch who had sex with his own daughters after offering them to a crowd to be gang raped (the "evil" people of Sodom refused to harm the innocent girls). Near as I can tell they should both be burning in hell if it really exists.

Before Jesus came the godly folk did not go to Heaven but went to a world right next to hell called Paradise. That is where Jesus and the man on the cross next to him went after they died. Jesus's death and resurrection made it possible for everyone in Paradise like Abraham and Lot to go to heaven with God. Jesus mentioned this other world in the story of the rich man who did not give the poor man anything to drink when he was dying of thirst.
Sin had separated everyone from God including saints like Moses, Abraham and Lot. Jesus's death was for all humanity before and after his death. He made it possible for everyone to go to Heaven where God resides.

Christ died for all sin; past, present and future. This covered Abraham and Lot as well.

By living faithfully under the Law that was in effect during their life.

The blood of Christ covers the sins of those faithful, obedient followers of God who lived before the cross, as well as for those who live after.

BEWARE PLEASE ONE ALONE GOD IS OUR ONLY
SAVIOUR .
The Saviour of Mary and Jesus, Moses and Jacob, Abraham and Muhammad (peace be upon all) and all messengers and the righteous ones is our Saviour. And our Saviour is GOD who is Almighty and All able.
•Jesus believed in the same God___ who was believed in__ by Adam, Noah, Ibrahim, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and all the prophets (peace &blessings of the LORD be upon all of them).

According to Jesus, God, the Holy One; is the Saviour of the Whole mankind. God is capable (be God glorified as God is) to relive off every infliction. None of the human beings is saviour beside God. Jesus, himself is also, not a saviour at all. The people who have chosen him as their saviour__ they have denied the Holy One___ who alone is the saviour of Jesus and whole mankind and the act of choosing Jesus as saviour__ is equal to hate the Holy One___ as it is clearly written in the old Testament:-

“I am the Lord your God. Worship no God but Me. Do not make for yourself images of anything in heavens or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it. Because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me, on their descendants, down to third and fourth generation.”
(Exodus 20:1-5)

Jesus was born after Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ismael, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, Moses and the numerous other Prophets (peace & blessings of God be upon all of them). If he were the Son-God, then, all of the foregoing Prophets, must have been the believers of Trinity. But the case is not like that at all. None of them was the believer of Trinity, rather, none of them, had, even, heard about the name of Trinity, in their times. Hence, Trinity is nothing else but an invented and artificial concept which has no existence, even, during the time of Jesus. It is, therefore, a rootless concept from all accounts.
The Lord of Abraham
The Ahura of Zoroaster
The Eishwar of Krishna
The Jehovah of Moses
The God of Jesus
The Allah of Muhammad
is the AlMighty One Alone God Only who is the Creator and Nourisher of us all.
