Funny, and no, she wouldn't make a good ambassador.
There is a funny story of Bob Hope asked to be the ambassador of good will for Brazil. He was so thrilled, he told the news that he was planning to learn Spanish. Unfortunately, Brazil's native language is Portuguese.
They politely removed the offer.

No... Her being a rich snot does not qualify her as being a representation of the US.
We really aren't all that different from the rest of the world, and some of us Americans are more than a little peaved at the global narrow-mindedness going on. Because everyone knows America is SOOOOOOO evil, right?
Frankly, Miss Hilton needs to grow up a little.

My Dear friend,
No I do not think she will do good as an Ambassador.
She better fit as a the hostess of the gates of Abaddon.
Actually she better fit as a manager of a certain kind of house/business but I better hold myself here.
She is a bad very bad role model for girls (all ages) in this mad world.
I wish we had more non materialistic and futile women at the media.
I wish we had models of virtue, humanity, good values, family values, ethic and self respect, purity, and all the good things that makes people with good principles more human and more involved with deep matters.
I wish more Peace, Love, Friendship, Moral and Family values for all of girls in the world.
Life is not being a futile woman.
Life is not fashion and magazines and hollywood.
Read a book (a good one), study, do volunteer, help the poor, help the sick, help the orphans, help people in need, visit the elders, do not throw your dad and mom in a "deposit of old people", vide senior homes, help the kids around the world with donations and food, be someone who makes a difference in people's life!
Praise different cultures and arts (good art).
Be religious, no matter what religion, they are all good for the soul.
Help stop divorce and abortions.
Do not smoke weed and drink too much alcohol.
Be someone who people will recognize you for your good will and acts not for your body or your money.
Ambassadors of good nature and good values is what we need.

Paris Hilton is a brainless twit... all she has going for her is her body.
So yes I think she'll make a great Ambassador... Maybe someone will listen to her instead of all the old guys that we send across seas!

She's a brainless, superficial, egotistical young american woman that doesn't know sh*t squat about anything, therefor, in my opinion she WOULD NOT make a good ambassador.
Come on, she makes money out of her parents, she's hasss so much money and she's famous because of money that she's never made. What image does this give to the kids of today? Not a good one!
