I would take her to the hospital so she doesn't get dehydrated. I did get sick a few years ago and the only thing I could keep down was salted white rice and crackers.

Make sure she is at least getting water so that she doesn't dehydrate. If she can't hold down water have her suck on ice chips. She can go a couple of days without eating, but try clear broth when she finally feels like eating. Gatorade is also good to help replenish lost electrolytes.

Her body is telling her in plain English not to eat anything. She should only drink water and she can go without food for a month. See site below for info on fasting with quotes from 17 MDs.

My family just had this same virus. Do not give her anything to eat while she is still throwing up. Only small sips of clear fluids. Once she stops throwing up then she can have more to drink. Then you can start back with bland foods such as toast.

You have little time to waste AND you need the advice of a trained medical professional.

She IS dehydrated and in need of immeadiate medical attention!

Go to the Emergency Room NOW! Do not waste another moment!

Her life could depend on it!

You know you should see a doctor

but if you are the kind that won't do that

if it's food poisoning, an old way that I have heard of, is eating some burnt toast, black burnt toast and some tea if possible.

thats what I have always heard old people say they did in the old days.

but maybe she has some stomach flu

I guess you can pray too.

Take your sister to the Doctor or to an Emergency Room--QUICK before she becomes too dehydrated.

I would take her to the ER. They will prob give her Phenergan which will help the nausea, don't know what type they will give but I suspect the suppositories.

Try soup or saltine crackers. If she isn't better tomorrow call the doctor or go to the hospital.
