My computer is fairly new i have windows media player and i can burn cd's but can't figure out how to copy dvd's they will only play.I am also worried if i update the media player i may lose all the cd's i have copied. plus i really do not understand what to update too any how. someone told me to try something called div-x.I know my computer is capable of burning the dnd's i just am lost as to what i need to do a program a driver software? please help!!!!!

not sure about ur dvd question, but i just updated my windows media player to v 11 and i didnt lose any of my library or my playlists....the update is actually really cool, it's safe to do it.

I don't think the burning software coming from Microsoft is good software, I recommend you use Nero to burn your CD/DVD, it's easy and friendly.

i'd recommend getting a copy of nero, that'll burn dvds and should handle most issues with copying and burning cds and dvds

bay a copy of nero or clone dvd /clone cd or try to down load it at 9down or do a search at afterdawn goog luck and happpy christmas

ok there are several ways for different types of dvd files.

If you are coping an original dvd you need anydvd and 1 click dvd copy

If you are coping a downloaded file you need cucusoft mpeg to dvd editor and cucusoft authorer and Nero 7
