Hey guys, well I have been checking out many websites about healthy diets, but It didn't really help me as much as I wanted I figured that its the best to ask your opinions. I am 19 years old 5'6 and about 145-150 Pounds my problem areas are my theighs, butt and tummy.. I have a problem finding jeans that fit!! :(How can I lose a few pounds and what excersizes do you guys recomend for toning up??

Low- or no-carb diet and pumping iron. Aerobic exercise can help you whittle the waistline as well, as long as it is intense, like running or bicycle riding.

Squats are a great exercise because they work the large muscles of the butt and legs. To make squats more intense, hold dumbbells or a barbell on your shoulders while you perform them. Another good exercise is lunges (you can find visuals of these on the web), both rear and forward lunges.

For the abdominals, you'll have to change up your diet to low- or no-carb. You have to do all around muscle toning and aerobic workouts to decrease the belly fat.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
