This is What the True Believers Should Believe!!!

Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).

2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.

3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.

4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.

5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.

7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.

9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.

11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.

12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.

I believe my religion is true. At the same time my religion taught me to respect other people's religions or belief systems.

Respect in this context means that we recognize that other people have the right to follow the teaching of their religions and entitled to their opinion.

For example, if they think that their religion is teaching the truth and other religion is not correct, then they are entitled to their opinion. But to get respect, they should not mock or use offensive words when criticizing other religions.

I respect other peoples right to have the free will God gave them just as I have free will. I do not presume to take something away that God gave them. It doesn't mean I respect the religion they chose though, especially if their religion interferes in my freedom However I dont make a habit of going around making fun of people over what religion they choose or if they chose none.

Yes I do, and I talk to anyone no matter their race belief colour height width or disposition or denomination I am not prejudiced in any way I do not feel above any one nor do I believe in belittling anyone. I have answered questions that have been answered many times before, again, and I always try to answer in a respectful way, but I am not perfect, and so I have failed in many ways at many points in time, all I can do is keep on trying, and I will, keep trying, for i hope, of having, at least some success!

Hmmm, by true believers, I am assuming you mean those who consider themselves Christians and have a relationship with Jesus Christ? If so, then, I think the Bible is clear that there is only one way to God the Father, and that is through belief in Jesus Christ.
How we communicate that faith to other people is important as the Bible tells us we are to be the light of the world and be always ready to give a good reason why we beleive what we do. I have heard it said that "you may be the only Bible another person reads".
People who claim to belong to other religious groups can be just like some who say they are Christians, in that they really may not know what or why they believe what they do.
I have found that asking a person about what they believe and then listening to them (really listening and caring about them as God does) then usually opens the door to my being able to tell them what and why I believe what I do about my personal relationship with the living God.
Disrespecting or putting others down is definitely not called for and would never fall under the "love your neighbor" command and would probably not make anyone want to know anything about God, but cause them to think the things they have heard about closed minded Christians are correct.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God, for God is love. Beloved, let us love one another." I John 4:7-8

I may respect what you believe, but I may not believe that way.

We are all in our own stage, spiritual level of belief, and as we gain more knowledge we may move to another level. We are always learning as long as we live on this planet, since that was one of the reasons why we are here.
That's why God works in all religions, he is understanding, and it's not religion he cares about, it's all in the individuals heart.
I sense I feel the same as God does, or I try.

There are two kinds of respect, common courtesy and and the respect that is earned from experience of a personal nature.

Respect of another persons religion falls under the common courtesy type for me(I won't slam your religion, please do the same). As Christians we are called to love others as ourselves so we need to be courteous to others(although admittedly we frequently fall short of our goal)

Yes I do.... I respect the other peoples religion.....

But!

That doesn't mean I should respect the person..... if the person is bad to be etc, I don't respect them, but for their religion yes..... although I refute it, still, respects respect XD

Yes, I have totally respect for others and their religious beliefs. I believe whatever you believe in, it is just nice that they believe in something higher than themselves. I think we should all have someone to pray to or talk to when we are down. I know it's not the same, but I like the fact that my kids still believe in Santa and the tooth fairy. It helps build their spirituality.

I don't know what a "true believer" is, but I try to respect other people's beliefs.
