I'm trying to sell my truck, I can't use it anymore and it is way to good looking and well taken care of to sit in my driveway. I put a sign on it and drive it around to advertise but by doing that I am putting more mileage on it and haven't gotten any inquiries...it has been over a month now and 2,000 miles later!

Well the "best" way is the one that gets you the most looks but this is usually the most expensive like ads in the paper or auto magazine. The "cheapest" is a for sale sign but I have only sold one vehicle in my life this way (and I buy and sell a lot). The "easiest" way is the way that works the fastest which is unknown until you try them all! I would recommend checking with your local newspaper and finding out what their best deal is you might be surprised, typically, if you select an ad option that runs its term without the option to make changes (like price) you can get a good deal. Keep the sign in the window anyway!

I would try the Auto Trader... my experience has been you get very little inquires from just sticking a sign in the window or even the local newspaper... truly serious buyers will look in their auto trader! Also if there is a very visible place with lots of traffic you should park it and leave it there during the days (like a street corner, gas station, walmart, front of your house, etc)

before you try eBay try Craigslist. Its free and its regional.

Just becareful about wire fraud .. same as with eBay. Accept cash only and you will be safe.
