Yes, if that person has to drink alcohol on a daily basis,
he is an alcoholic. The amount does not matter at the
moment, because sooner or later he/she will increase
the alcohol consumption.

He's not necessarily addicted. You have to look at the outside sources as to why this person is drinking on a daily basis. If it's stress leading to it, then they should try to avoid those stresses. If it's just like one glass of wine or a beer or something with dinner, then that's fine. A lot of times people will have a drink just to unwind after a long day or a majorly stressful day. If they start to have the urge to get drunk everyday, then yes, they definitely are addicted and need to seek help quickly. Coming from a family where my father is a recovering alcoholic, I get along with my father so much better now that he is sober, and he has been for 14 years. Alcoholism not only affects the person that has the problem, but also their family and friends. I even ended up in therapy for it. When you think about it, people in Italy have a glass of wine with their meals every day. One glass of red wine a day is actually very good for your heart and your eyes, at least that's what my mom's doctor told her. Good Luck!

Yes, it does anytime you feel the need to do anything that shows that it's becoming a habit that you need to participate in before you can function in everyday life. You're making that a part of your everyday life making the habit of drinking a necessity instead of a activity that you do every now and then or only socially and for the record you don't have to get tipsy or drunk every time you drink to be a alcoholic if drinking becomes a daily and habitual routine that you feel you need to do then you're already a alcoholic eventually you will start to get drunk every time you drink. Remember if it isn't something that's necessary to live or you weren't born with (god given) then you don't need it at least not on a regular basis.

What is your definition of the word "feels"? I feel the need not to drink Budweiser every day, but the burning hole sensation that comes from the inside my stomach (known as the "alcohol worm") insist that it needs to be filled. Now then, do you think I'm ready for "AA" meetings? I know I'm not, because I only drink the King of Beers (original Budweiser), if I was addicted I would drink whatever anybody handed me (I would rather go without). So if you can relate to what I'm saying, then you'll know whether or not if you're a candidate for "Alcoholic Anonymous". Check out these sites www.local.com or www.mywayout.org. Either way good luck on quest, hopefully you're young enough to make the right decision.

If you drink daily, you are going to get to a point where you're an alcoholic. No matter how much you consume, whether it be a simple shot a day, or a bottle a day... Once you do it long enough, you're not going to be able to go a day without it. You're doing to be dependent on the substance... Eventually, the shot won't be enough so you'll go to two shots, and three, and eventually get to the point of always being drunk. It's like a smoker, if they smoke one cigarette a day or three packs, they're addicted to it.

some people drink beer like soda they just want one cause they like the taste. it helps the person to relax but if they cant go a single day without a drink i would be a little worried. but if they handle themselves and it doesn't seem to escalate and it doesn't interfere with their life i think things are fine of your worried say something but dint be pushy it might make them want to drink more just to spite
with all of these answers i can only assume that they drink soda everyday which in itself is considered a drug so they must be addicted to!!!!

i've got consistently puzzled concerning the psychology this is at the back of anonomous haters posting adverse comments on boards. I examine right here in this communicate board that what we journey right this is far less harsh than what's in the "faith/spirituality" communicate board. That stands to reason with the aid of fact human beings's non secular ideals are not in accordance with shared observable phenomena, like astrology. by employing that I mean, whilst i'm advised that somebody I meet is a Virgo, enable's say, i be attentive to that i will have the skill to grant that individual distinctive factor if i'm telling them something. they gained't concepts if I carry a noun hostage with 5 adjectives. it incredibly is been observed over the centuries that Virgos love factor. non secular concept is unsupported, this is why it takes a bounce of religion to have self assurance in a doctrine. there is greater of an ego attachment to a concept held by employing faith, ergo the greater frenzied adverse posts in "faith/spirituality". As for people who make adverse comments right here in the astrolog communicate board it reminds me of crank callers, or adult men who throw stuff at you whilst they are employing by employing of their ratty old autos. it incredibly is cowardly. The stuff of bullies without b@lls. Now why could somebody be a faceless, nameless, anonomous bully on a communicate board centred on astrology? I mean, how lame is that already? How little power those human beings ought to have of their existence before everything to experience that picking on metaphysicians is a tricky guy action? it incredibly is extremely pathetic. "Boy you could have examine the misspelled typo riddled post I left on the astrology communicate board. I guess I afflicted those astrologers." the cowards ought to boast. so which you're maximum concepts-blowing, this is a feeble attempt to experience greater beneficial, yet on condition that we are such mushy objectives it incredibly is like kicking cotton balls with soccer cleats. How lots greater greater beneficial can those anonomous bullies experience? this is different from they are picking fights in the "game" area, the place some actual flame wars ought to ensue with the push of testosterone. Oh now watch the rash of thumbs down rain down on my solutions after this post. LOL
