Why are men not able to be honest about everything?

I mean, what are they afraid of? What´s the worst that could happen? Why do they always think they can´t talk to a woman? What is it? ...

Insecurity within themselves. Not being able to admit certain things about themselves to themselves. Many make assumptions about how they will be perceived and hiding things instead of revealing things and facing whatever judgement there is or isn't. By far though, I think those that can't be honest are the most insecure and possibly most depressed because if you are secure within yourself and happy, you will have no need to hide anything, from anyone, ever.

Apparently women are not able to be honest either. Maybe a better way to say this is the truth gets affected by how a woman feels about an issue.

The difference about honesty with men and women is that it's more black & white for men and it's gray for women.

I recently heard about the X 3 for women and divide by 3 for men to figure how many sexual partners someone has had. Considering the men are having sex with the women (statistically), then both are not telling the truth.

Ever hear the Bob marley Song "no woman no cry". Now, the song isn't about what i am about to divulge, but seriously, men do just not have the capability, when being honest, of being tactful and compassionate. They just blurt out seemingly innocuos comments and the next thing ya know, the girl is wailing like a banshee. We want you to be honest, we just want you to be NICE about it.
Like, when she says 'Honey, do these jeans make my azz look big?', instead of staring at her with you eyes bulging out and your jaw on the floor stuttering nnnnnooo bbbaby".. Just say-because she will notice the bulging eyes and dropped jaw-"Honey, I never realized a pair of jeans could make you azz look so great!" And don't say "great" where it sounds like you mean "fat". So why are men afraid of being honest? Because a man's brand of honesty, unless carefully cultivated, will reduce her to a blubbering mess and th cost of the gift to make up for making her cry might mean he skips his next car payment.

well, i think the simple answer is that no one is honest about everything. i mean give us a little credit, maybe.... depending on the situation. oh and we think we cant talk to woman because men become neriodic with woman unless they know them very well. besides if the woman is incredibly gorgeous i mean we dont think we have a chance, so unless hes ugly he wont risk his pride.

Everybody is capable of telling the truth, both genders. If some men are not honest, then they choose not to tell the truth.

Because WOMEN cant handle the truth. We are afraid we would loose the one we love. Often times men try be what they are not because the are trying to get your attention. You wouldn't date person if you knew he pick boogers.
