I bought the game at Best Buy for $50, then it went on sale for 25. I bought one for 25, but now they won't take the other back for 50, they want to give me 25 instead. (they looked up my old receipts) Is there anywhere else that will just take this back and give me store credit or something?

I'll try walmart :) If anyone else knows of stores who will take back games without a receipt, please post.

It's not illegal, good grief. Maybe if I opened it, installed it on the computer and then tried to close it up, but I never used it. They'll be able to sell it for $50, so I'm not ripping anyone off. It's what I originally paid anyways. Not my fault Best Buy is a bunch of Nazi's.

I was going to say walmart too but they might scan it and see that it didn't come from their store. You might want to try and wait to see if the sale ends and it goes back up to 50.00 at the store that you bought it at.

It's not illegal because you paid 50.00 for it in the first place, it's not like you are trying to make a profit from it. The best thing is to wait until the sale ends though. It's that time of year where everything is on sale but after the new year everything will go back to normal.

you have to take it back to the same store and if they will give you store credit of the $50 I would take it but next time wait awhile before you jump into buying something the prices always go down other than that they're right it's illegal ( next time comparison shop or something thats what I do and always get a cheaper deal) just sell the new one on Ebay or something people will pay regular price if its not been opened

You especially a lot can purely return issues the the keep at which they have been offered, or maybe then without receipt idk what share could settle for it. If the Mac keep wont i could purely say take it to a Blockbuster, Gamecrazy, Gamestop, Ebgames, they purchase video games
