Eh, religion hacks are posting on the biology board too. You know they're not reading the well-thought-out responses they are getting in either place.

The attempt to turn the science of evolution (which is the cornerstone for all of modern biology) into a political debate is a huge form of dark ages anti-intellectualism. Frankly, it is shocking in the twenty first century.
Science has many other theories, and none of these receive the same attention. When was the last time you heard someone called a gravitationist, heliocentrist, or tectonic plateist?

Are those my only two choices?
Honestly, if I knew nothing about evolution, I'd go to a reliable source.. either a science book or a scientist.
If I have to go to a Y/A board, then biology.. if I'm forced to ask it on an R&S, then I'm going to talk to an atheist or a pagan who gets the whole evolution concept. I'm certainly not going to ask someone who is biased against the subject.

If you want novel interesting posts, like the ones about the bible, then ask em here.
Or read "Origin of Species" and some of Darwin's other books, and about T H Huxley, Spencer, etc.
Maybe The Human Zoo, too
maybe Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals
If a smart Christian wants to, I would read the Bible while she reads those, then compare honest thoughtful reactions. It could be REALLY fun I think. Maybe a good way to pass a boring year or two.

I wouldn't post it in either section because I would not trust Yahoo users, whose scientific credentials may be comparable to Britney Spears debating against Einstein concerning science. I would only seek answers from a scientist, see what evidence they have, and be able to examine the evidence for myself and see where the truth sits. I wouldn't trust some stranger on the Internet.

IMO, it's appropriate on both boards, but you do have a point. If I wanted to post about Big Bang, for example, I'd definitely post it to physics because I want to hear from the people most likely to have knowledge in that field.

Science or biology.
The Father of Modern Genetics was a Catholic Abbott, who made graftings possible along with the first botanica proofs of evolution, because botany takes less time to manifest than bilogy.
But, of course, Atheists don't know which end is up.

I agree: biology would be the place to go. Digression: I have a proof that evolution is correct; it is no longer necessary to refer to it as a theory.

Biology. Actually, I would ask my wife who has an MS in Molecular Genetics, but I would pick biology if I didn't have that resource.
