If Allah said to the profit to do something at least he was doing his work. I don't necessarily agree with hopping from one bed to another. However, if that was what he thought to be Allahs wish, then that was his interpretation righteousness.
Sounds like you are not a peace with your place in this world. Stop worrying about a religion you don't or won't bring yourself to understand. Keep your mind on what your are supposed to be doing in life.
